Client Counseling
In addition to representing employees in negotiation and litigation, the firm routinely:
- Prepares employees for a termination meeting;
- Advises employees on how to respond to a negative performance review or a performance improvement plan;
- Assists employees in writing a rebuttal to a negative performance review or a performance improvement plan;
- Counsels employees on whether, when and how to try to negotiate a severance package and/or an exit plan;
- Counsels employees on whether and how to try to negotiate a less restrictive non-compete or non-solicitation agreement;
- Counsels employees on how to file administrative charges, and what to do and not do during the EEOC intake process;
- Evaluates an employee’s facts to determine whether they are strong enough to support a legal claim.
