Client Counseling

In addition to representing employees in negotiation and litigation, the firm routinely:

  • Prepares employees for a termination meeting;
  • Advises employees on how to respond to a negative performance review or a performance improvement plan;
  • Assists employees in writing a rebuttal to a negative performance review or a performance improvement plan;
  • Counsels employees on whether, when and how to try to negotiate a severance package and/or an exit plan;
  • Counsels employees on whether and how to try to negotiate a less restrictive non-compete or non-solicitation agreement;
  • Counsels employees on how to file administrative charges, and what to do and not do during the EEOC intake process;
  • Evaluates an employee’s facts to determine whether they are strong enough to support a legal claim.
